The City of Waterloo is excited to host a special, once-in-a-lifetime event honoring America's 250th Anniversary and of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Celebrate America 250 is a community celebration on July 4, 2026 from 9am-2pm in the beautiful historic downtown of Waterloo, Illinois. While details are still in the works, the event will feature a patriotic morning parade and community festivities designed to bring neighbors together in celebration of our nation’s history and future.
