The Vandalia Statehouse Grande Levee, a celebration hosted by the Vandalia Statehouse State Historic Site will be held on June 19 & 20, 2026. Friday, June 19th at 5:00-7:00 p.m. the Vandalia Historical Society will host a community ham & beans dinner. Saturday, June 20^th, 10am-4pm will feature the Vandalia, Illinois Tourism Commission Farmers’ Market along with 1800's period arts and crafts demonstrations, Live music, Abraham Lincoln presenter, a presentation by Times in History, A Traveling Museum, Wood carving and painting demo's by the Fayette County Art Connection, performances by Professor Farquar & Polecat Annie, petting zoo, vendor fair on Gallatin Street, Wild Foam 12-3pm, food trucks, kettle korn and so much more.
