Big laughs are coming to O’Fallon – and amateur comedians of all ages are the stars of the show! The Metro East Literacy Project, which promotes a culture of reading in the Illinois Metro East St. Louis region, invites the community to its first-ever Page & Turner Comic Relief Show on Saturday, October 10, 2026 for a night of comedy benefiting literacy programs for children and adults. This family-friendly event kicks off with a performance by a special guest comedian, who will then hand the microphone over to kids, adults, and amateur comedians in the audience ready to take the stage. Laughs are guaranteed whether you BYOJ – bring your own jokes – or pick your favorites from joke books placed around the room. The event also includes an online silent auction and refreshments.
