The Hill's Fort Rendezvous is an annual immersive, 3-day living history event held at the American Farm Heritage Museum near Greenville, Illinois. Centering around our reconstructed fort, your family will be able to enjoy vendors and delicious food provided by Hog Stalkers BBQ while being transported back in time. You will interact re-enactors in period clothing while partaking in live demonstrations like blacksmithing, cannon firing, rope making, musket/rifle shooting, Lewis & Clark Fife and Drum Corp, music, and much more! Friday is a special day for youth with our Kids Day where the local school age children (public school and home-school) attend and have a chance to be hands-on with items from that period (both artifacts and reproduction). Do not forget to join us as the sun goes down and the Fort is aglow with lanterns and evening program "Lydia Pursely and the battle of Hills Fort" with Kevin Kaegy, local historian and author which will then be followed by music!
