About the Tourism Times

Discover Downstate Illinois produces two editions of the Tourism Times per year. The publication includes events and information about the 22 counties we serve and features stories about interesting aspects of our region. It is distributed throughout our entire territory and is also available online.

Discover Downstate Illinois covers more ground than any other Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in the State of Illinois. We represent 22 counties and two cities stretching from the Mississippi River east of St. Louis, MO to the Wabash River west of Vincennes, IN. We are both rural and urban, allowing guests to enjoy big city life and simple, country treasures – all at once!
