Did you know that Brace Beemer, the radio voice of the Lone Ranger for 13 years is from Mt. Carmel? There is an exhibit in the Wabash County Museum dedicated to his career. Another noteworthy stop in Wabash County is Beall Woods State Park, home to one of the few remaining tracts of virgin timber east of the Mississippi River.
