GOLDENRODS COMING TO DEMOULIN MUSEUM

A “Country and Midwestern” trio from St. Louis will be performing at the DeMoulin Museum in Greenville on Sunday, April 14 at 1:30 p.m. The Goldenrods are known for their two steps, waltzes, and polkas – both classics and original material.

The band features Ryan Koenig singing and playing fiddle, octave mandolin, plectrum banjo and guitar; Jess Adkins singing and playing accordion and guitar; and Kellie Everett singing and playing upright bass.

“The is the Goldenrods first appearance with us,” said John Goldsmith, museum curator.  “They are a popular trio whose tour stops this year include Texas, North Carolina, Tennessee and Ohio.  We’re very fortunate to have them coming to the DeMoulin Museum.”

The museum offers a free concert series each year featuring a variety of musical styles.  Concerts are held indoors.

Doors open at 1:00 p.m. with The Goldenrods’ concert beginning at 1:30 p.m.  Admission is free and there will be complimentary refreshments.

The concert series is sponsored by Bond County Realtors, HSHS Holy Family Hospital, West & Company LLC, and WGEL Radio.

The DeMoulin Museum is located 205 S. Prairie Street in Greenville.
