Tee Off At Some Great Courses in Downstate Illinois!

Spend some time on one of our many courses here in Downstate Illinois. Whether you are looking for a par 3 or a challenging, championship level 18 hole course, we have it all! 

Western Counties

For over 20 years, Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo has been offering 18 holes of public play on over 226 acres. The course has 6,800 yards with a par of 72. Annbriar is also equipped to host a variety of events including banquets and weddings. The clubhouse features the Smokehouse restaurant as well as a fully equipped Pro Shop. Golf Digest has rated Annbriar one of America’s Top 500 “Places to Play”, making is a great choice when thinking about where you want to tee off.

North County Country Club in Red Bud is a 9-hole course that provides a challenging, yet rewarding playing experience with zoysia fairways, sand traps, and two lakes. The course is 2,800 yards with a par of 35. After some time on the course, players can stop by the clubhouse for food, drinks or to purchase golf accessories. Guests can also rent the clubhouse for private parties.

 

Stonewolf Golf Club in Fairview Heights is more than a Jack Nicklaus designed course, which in and of itself is pretty impressive. This is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course. That means the man, the legend himself, Jack Nicklaus took an active hand in the total design and construction of this magnificent golf course. This is one of only four Jack Nicklaus Signature courses in Illinois and Missouri!

Enjoy golf as it was meant to be played at Gateway National Golf Links in Madison. This stunning, links-style course in the perfect location for golfers who work in, or travel to the downtown St. Louis and Metro-East areas.Tall grasses, lakes, wood-tie bunkers, and occasional giant cottonwoods complete the landscape. In view of the magnificent Gateway Arch, you will cross occasional stone bridges, glide on raised boardwalks through quiet wetlands, and enjoy play on the only public St. Louis golf course with bentgrass fairways within hundreds of miles. 

 

Central Counties

Get ready to experience the beauty that Southern Illinois has to offer at Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course in Okawville.  This 18-hole course features over 6,500 yards with a par of 71. The front 9 follows the natural lay of the land while the back 9 invites players to a more open style of golf. There is a restaurant on site to grab a bite to eat as well as a Pro Shop open daily. 

Governors Run Golf Course in Carlyle hosts 18 holes of championship golf, a full service Pro Shop and Bar & Grille. The 7,013 yard Championship Course has 13 lakes scattered throughout the par 72 layout. It boasts 5 sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play” recently gave it 4.5 stars

Nestled among the hills and lakes of beautiful Southern Illinois, the Red Hawk Golf Club in Tamaroa has an 18-hole, 6,155-yard, par 70, watered golf course with a world of character.

 

Eastern Counties

Located in Olney, Richland County Golf Club features 18-holes. The par 71 layout offers two very different nine hole tracks. The course has over 6,100 yards with four different sets of tees, offering play to all ages and skill sets. Richland Country Club also features a driving range, a pool, and a full-service bar

West Burwick Golf Club, the public 18-hole course, opened in Mount Carmel in 1920. The course measures over 6,300 yards from with a par of 71 and features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels so all skills are welcome on the course. 

Casey Country Club in Casey is known for its famous landmark. The World’s Largest Golf Tee is located here along with 2,500 yards of great golf. The par for the course is 35 and it also features a clubhouse with snacks, souvenirs, and a Pro Shop. The clubhouse is also available to rent for events.

 

Carmi Country Club in Carmi is a 9-hole regulation course. The course is extremely tight and tee times are only reserved for weekends and holidays. The course is 2,700 yards with a par of 35. Players may also choose to play the double loop 18 making the par for the course 71. The course features a clubhouse with a full bar, pub style meals, and a Pro Shop. 

 What was intended to be a three-hole golf course on a section of a family farm has grown into one of the most talked-about and celebrated private golf courses in the United States….Canyata Golf Club in Marshall.
