"Comic Invasion!" Show to Honor Educators on NYE

Belleville area comedy fans will have a chance to laugh in the new year when the “Comic Invasion!” takes over the Lincoln Theatre for two nights, Saturday and Sunday December 30th and 31st  with showtimes at 7:30pm both nights.   The New Years Eve show will be dedicated to educators, coaches and school faculty and staff that devote their lives to helping the countrys children become succesful, healthy young adults.  The profession will receive recognition at the live performance in addition to receiving discounts when they purchase tickets and on dining prior to the performance at Lexi's in Belleville.  The show features four national touring comedians including Eric Rueseler, a six year military veteran turned comedian from Cape Girardeau, MO and headliner and TV show host Jeff Batts who has performed on tour and in concert with “Weird” Al Yankovic, Carrottop, The Jersey Boys, Charlie Daniels and others in addition to performing at military bases all across the U.S. Comedian and former lawyer Julian Watkins and St. Louis favorite, comedienne “Taji” round out the comedy line-up!  Those receiving discount will be able to purchase general admission tickets for $19 and vip package tickets for only $29.  Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

 Ticket holders can also enjoy discounts on pre-show dining at Copperfire on Saturday night and a 25% discount at Lexi's in Belleville both nights prior to the shows.  Lexi’s & Copperfire, which are both walking distance from the Lincoln Theatre, will also host after show parties as well.  This event will be filmed by Action Media and Batvision Productions with segments to be aired later on the syndicated television series “Comic Invasion!” That will begin airing in syndication nationally in 2024.
