Jim Beasley Veterans Tribute at Kaskaskia College honors combat and non-combat service men and women from five Downstate Illinois counties:

• Bond
• Clinton
• Fayette
• Marion
• Washington

This serene monument features five granite walls on which over 48,000 veterans' names are engraved. These walls extend from the Warriors' Court, a central circular area that houses a bronze eagle sculpture and five military service seals. Japanese cherry trees surround the entire monument and bloom with beautiful, fragrant flowers each Spring. The privately-funded, locally-conceived Jim Beasley Veterans Tribute is still under development. Phase 3 of the ongoing project will feature an Education Building with a computer lab and AV services. This building will give visitors access to historical documents, information, artifacts, and data on the history of the United States. Visit the Tribute's website for more information.
