Support The Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra

In 1866, veterans of the Civil War started the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra. The group performed their first concert in 1867, making them the second-oldest continuously performing orchestra in the United States.

Unfortunately, the group hasn't been able to perform this year - because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Belleville Philharmonic has had to cancel several performances including a Youth Orchestra event, and their annual Nutcracker production. The loss of the Nutcracker performance is especially difficult, as it provides a large portion of the organization's annual operating revenue. The Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the rare orchestras blessed to have their own hall, but with the drastic decline in revenue this year - costs to maintain the facilities are adding up.

The organization has set up a Go Fund Me account, in hopes that folks will be kind enough to donate funds to keep the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra afloat until they can perform again. The monetary goal is $33,500, which will provide the Belleville Philharmonic Orchestra enough resources to maintain their facility until 2021 - when they hope to be able to peform for the masses again.
