Complete Guide to Downstate Illinois County Fairs

Across our region, counties are set to host thousands with their annual fairs with most occurring in July this Summer. So clear your calandars as this summer is sure to be a fun one!

July County Fairs

7/8 - 7/13 Fayette County - Located at 386 W. Cumberland Rd. in Brownstown, the fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The fair includes truck and tractor pulls, mud racing, rodeo, and more! Click here for more information.

7/8 - 7/12 Randolph County - Located at 506 West Belmont in Sparta, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. This fair features special events, variety of foods, parade, 4H, livestock, and agricultural exhibits. Events scheduled include a Craft Fair, 4H small animal judging and open horse show, a 4 wheeler pull and lawn mower, a 4H horse show, a 4H livestock auction, a tractor and truck pull, and a mud bog. Click here for more information.

7/9 - 7/16 Wayne County -  Located at 1401 W. Main Street in Fairfield, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Free grounds entry. Farm animals, 4-H projects, photography, arts and crafts, quilts, produce and bake goods. Carnival rides, taffy, cotton candy and much more. Grandstand events every night feature Tractor Pull, Demolition derby, horse races and more.  Click here for more information.

7/12 - 7/16 Washington County - Located at 101 West Court St. in Nashville, this fair runs from 5 to 11 p.m. daily. Food, Beer,Tractor Pulls, Sandy Volleyball, Glow Run, Music, Carnival Rides, Demolition Derby, Miss Washington County, Junior Miss & Little Miss Contest. Click here for more information.

7/16 - 7/22 Wabash County - Located at 15039 4H Center Lane in Mt. Carmel, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. This is the 50th Anniversary of the Wabash Count Fair. The fair will feature a cornhole tournament, livestock shows, and more! Click here for more information.

7/17 - 7/23 Clinton County - Located at 1899 Methodist St. in Carlyle, this fair runs from 5:30 p.m. to Midnight daily. For seven days, fair goers can enjoy exhibits, carnival rides, games, tractor pulls, and delicious food. Be a part of the magic of summer at the Clinton County Fair. Concessions, Vendors & Carnival open Monday – Saturday at 5:30 p.m. Parking – $3 a night or Parking Pass – $12 for the week. Click here for more information.

7/20 - 7/30 Edwards County - Located at 90 West Pine St. in Albion, this fair runs from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. This fair includes family events, rodeos, demolition derby, crafts and more! Click here for more information.

7/21 - 7/30 Clay County - Located at 104 Golf Course Rd. in Flora, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. This fair includes a 4-H BBQ, Ag Olympics, carnival rides and more! Click here for more information.

7/22 - 7/30 Richland County - Located at 502 White Squirrel Circle in Olney, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. The Richland County Fair has fun for the whole family. Attendees can view livestock and enjoy concessions, rides, and events. July 22 - 30, 2022. Click here for more information. 

7/23 - 7/30 Crawford County - Located at 108 Legion Parkway in Oblong, this fair runs from Noon to 11 p.m. daily. Located at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. 4-H exhibits, Crawford County Queen pageant, carnival rides, food booths, truck and tractor pull, and a demolition derby highlight the week-long event ending with a large 4-H auction. Click here for more information.

7/24 - 7/31 Monroe County - Located at 4177 IL-156 in Waterloo, this fair runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Visit the Monroe County Fair for tons of summer fun this year! Ride carnival rides, play games, and eat and drink delicious food from local organizations! Click here for more information.

7/26 - 7/31 Madison County - Located at 2025 Parkhill Dr. in Highland, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Each year, exciting events at the Madison County Fair draw over 216,000 exhibitors, vendors and visitors from all over the Metro East! Click here for more information.

7/29 - 8/6 Marion County - Located at 1800 Fairgrounds Rd. in Salem, this fair runs from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. This fair includes livestock shows, ag olympics, talent show, tractor pull and more! Click here for more information.

7/30 - 8/4 - Lawrence County - Located at 11107 4-H Rd. in Sumner, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. This fair includes dog show, horse show, battle of the barns, and more! Click here for more information.

August County Fairs

8/4 - 8/9 Bond County - Located at 1224 Midway Drive in Greenville, this fair runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Visit and enjoy livestock exhibitions, talent & beauty competitions, amusement rides and nightly grandstand events. With carnival games, vendors, food contests, and more, we know you'll enjoy the sheer joy at the Bond County Fair. Click here for more information.

8/13 - 8/20 Cumberland County - Located at 701 W. Cumberland St, in Greenup, this fair runs from Noon to 11 p.m. daily. Come out to the fair for rides, shows and plenty of food and drink.  Fun for the entire family. Click here for more information.
